Following the 2017 award, Telmaco SA is pleased to announce that has received the InAVate 2021 award for the «CONTROL ROOM AWARD 2021», IBC, help in Amsterdam.
Telmaco SA was honored with the «Control Room Award» in the category «Control Room» for the design and renovation of turnkey AV and Titling Systems to ADMIE (IPTO).
PROJECT OF THE YEAR AWARDS
Control Room: Telmaco - ADMIE (IPTO) Control Rooms Renovation, Greece
Telmaco won a 2021 Inavation Award for their project modernizing three control rooms for Greece's Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO), an ADMIE initiative, in the Best Control Room category.
The project involved installing 72 80-inch Barco DLP cubes and ensured the reliability of visual systems for a vital part of the country's energy infrastructure.
The Independent Power Transmission Operator S.A. (IPTO) operates as an Independent Transmission Operator in line with the provisions of EU Directive 2009/72/EC.
The Company has the responsibilities and performs the duties of Owner and Operator of the Hellenic Electricity Transmission System (HETS).
The mission of IPTO is the operation, control, maintenance and development of the Hellenic Electricity Transmission System, to ensure the country’s supply with electricity in an adequate, safe, efficient and reliable manner, as well as the operation of the electricity market for transactions outside the Day Ahead Scheduling, pursuant to the principles of transparency, equality and free competition.
