In 2014, Telmaco delivered a turnkey HD Sports Production and Archive System for SKAI Media Group. The solution integrated Grass Valley iTX continuity playout, Avid Media Central production, Provys scheduling, and archive management. With seamless newsroom, graphics, and ingest integrations, SKAI gained the capability to operate 10 HD pay TV channels, manage live sports production, and deliver flexible, high-quality programming.

Overview
SKAI Media Group required a unified broadcast and production environment to support its new contract with OTE for 10 HD pay TV channels. Telmaco designed and installed a tapeless, HD-ready infrastructure using Avid, Grass Valley, Provys, ORAD, and SGL technologies. The system enabled SKAI to record multiple sports events, edit and create highlights, integrate newsroom rundowns, and deliver reliable playout while archiving valuable content for future use.
