Project Summary
In 2012, Oromia Radio and Television Organization (ORTO), the state broadcaster of the Oromia Regional Government, initiated a transition from tape-based operations to a modern tapeless workflow. Telmaco was awarded the contract in 2013 to design, install, and commission a complete production, playout, and digital archive system. The installation, based on Avid technology, enabled mixed SD/HD operation, newsroom integration, shared storage, and an energy-efficient digital archive.
