Project Summary
Between 2020 and 2021, Telmaco delivered a turnkey upgrade of the Greek Parliament’s robotic camera system, replacing legacy cameras with broadcast-grade HD solutions. The project included 11 Grass Valley LDX82 cameras equipped with Fujinon lenses, mounted on Vinten FHR-35 robotic heads for silent operation. All cameras are remotely operated from three control rooms, ensuring full coverage of parliamentary proceedings without disturbing the historic building’s structure.

Overview
The Greek Parliament required a modern, silent, and fully remote-controlled camera system to ensure high-quality broadcast of debates across five parliamentary halls. The challenge was installing new robotic cameras without altering the national heritage building. Telmaco engineered custom mounting kits and successfully deployed the system in the same positions as the old cameras, achieving seamless transition and improved broadcast quality.
